
Bangkok, June 17, 2025 – Summer Palace at InterContinental Bangkok, recently awarded a MICHELIN Key and celebrated in Condé Nast Traveller’s 2024 Reader’s Choice as one of Southeast Asia’s best hotels, invites diners on a luxurious culinary journey with its special bird’s nest menu, available exclusively throughout July and August 2025.
Renowned for its refined Cantonese cuisine, Summer Palace brings the authentic flavours of Hong Kong to the heart of Bangkok with bird’s nest delicacies that highlight both tradition and innovation. Featured dishes include steamed bird’s nest xiao long bao, braised bird’s nest with king crab meat and white mushroom, sweet bird’s nest with taro and coconut milk, and steamed egg white and bird’s nest with milk—each offering a rich, delicate taste of the Orient.
Bird’s nest, often referred to as ‘white gold’ or ‘caviar of the East’, has long been revered in Chinese culinary culture. Harvested from the nests of swiftlets made almost entirely from their saliva, this prized ingredient is believed to be high in protein and essential nutrients such as iron, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Celebrated for its immunity-boosting properties and anti-ageing benefits—thanks to its collagen and amino acid content—bird’s nest has earned its superfood status across the Far East.
Priced from THB 380++ per dish, this indulgent menu is available from 1 July to 31 August 2025, with lunch served from 11:30 to 14:30 and dinner from 18:00 to 22:30.
